During the spring break of 2023, I finally left Hong Kong and joined my family in Los Cabos, a beautiful resort city located on the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula in Mexico. As usual, my beautiful wife had meticulously planned and arranged every little detail of the trip, leaving me with the sole task of showing up and enjoying the family bonding time with my two lovely kids, who I hadn't seen much over the past three years since they moved to the US during the pandemic. Although I have to admit that I spent most of my time and devoted most of my effort on DL, my third child, than on my two older children, I couldn't help but feel emotional every time I saw them growing taller and being more mature. My conscience tells me that I need to make up for all the lost time with my children whenever I am with them, and this vacation is the perfect opportunity for me to redeem my role as a father to them and give them the fatherly guidance under the roof of “Man-in-charge”.
